Puppies

September 2008, Paramount Skye Pilot had puppies sired by Paramount Smooth StarFire. Skye whelped 7 puppies in 2 hours and 10 minutes, not bad for a first time mama. Skye had 4 bitches, 3 red 1 cinnamon, 3 roughs, 1 red smooth. Three red males , 2 of the smooth persuasion. We will be keeping one bitch and one dog.

January 2008, Ch. Paramount Angel Fire presented us with a litter of four red bitches, sired by Ch. Rebelrun’s Call to Glory. This was a frozen semen litter. One red bitch Paramount Embraced By An Angel( Whisper) is co-owned with Phil & Vicki DeGruy, the rest stayed home.
Miscellaneous
Paramount Angel Fire became a champion by winning her second winners bitch at 2007 National Specialty. This was a first for a bitch to win back to back winners at a CCCI National Specialty. Angel Fire’s daughter Paramount SpitFire followed in her Dam’s footsteps by winning Best In Sweepstakes.
Angel Fire is also the first Champion Chow Chow bitch to receive her CHIC Number: 51641. In addition to OFA Hips, Elbows, Patella, Thyroid and CERF(eyes), Angel Fire also received her OFA Cardiac number.

After 6 years of losing to Lonnie Burr in our annual round of golf( we were unable to play in 2006), Dave Foose now has bragging rights for a year as he gave Lonnie his first defeat. However the most consistent player remains me. I have placed last each year.

Two new litters sired by Ch. Paramount the Pilot OFA ROM( frozen semen litters)
Congratulations to Lonnie & Regina Burr of Lo- Re' & Pepperland Chows for their litter out of Pilot and Ch. Paramount Ribbon in the Sky ROM. Sky had 2 red bitches, 1 black bitch, 1 black male and 1 cinnamon male.
We had a litter out of Pilot and Int. Ch. Paramount Maria Maria OFA, we have 2 red males and 1 red bitch.
REGISTER OF MERIT
Ch. Paramount Autumn Glory OFA now has her ROM, she joins Ch. Paramount the Pilot, Ch. Paramount UnDeniable, Ch. Paramount Unforgettable and Ch. Paramount Ribbon in the Sky as ROM recipients.
Susie and I have qualified for The Chow Chow Club Inc. Breeders Bronze Circle of Honor. Thank you to all the folks who have shown our dogs and helped us qualify for this award.
